PATTISON Outdoor Awarded Transit and Bus Shelter Advertising Contract for Fredericton, New Brunswick
PATTISON Outdoor Advertising, Canada’s largest Out-of-Home advertising provider and the leader in transit advertising, today announced a new transit advertising contract with the City of Fredericton.
The agreement will give PATTISON the exclusive right to sell interior and exterior transit advertising space on 28 buses on 9 routes, providing standard products such as Kings, 70s and vinyl applications including Headliners, Murals and Superbuses. PATTISON will also continue to maintain a pre-existing presence in Fredericton with 58 Transit Shelter faces.
“PATTISON’s high quality transit advertising displays on Fredericton transit buses and in City Transit Shelters will provide excellent visibility for advertisers and unparalleled coverage in the City,” said Sherry Kirwin, General Manager, Atlantic Region for PATTISON Outdoor Advertising. “We are thrilled to announce this exciting partnership and eager to help our clients reach their desired audiences in this wonderful community and to increase revenue growth for the City of Fredericton.”
PATTISON’s new agreement with the City of Fredericton adds to the company’s growing portfolio of transit systems, which now includes nine of the top ten in Canada. It also gives the company unmatched coverage in New Brunswick. Now representing transit shelters and buses in the only three markets that provide public transportation – Fredericton, Moncton and Saint John – PATTISON now provides a total market coverage of nearly 50% of the Province’s population.
Adding Transit and Transit Shelter advertising creates a great combination, and an effective way for advertisers to connect with consumers. Advertising in transit shelters and/or on the interiors and exteriors of Fredericton’s buses will help connect advertising agencies and businesses to their desired audiences.
The capital city of NB, Fredericton is a sought-after market with a population of over 94,000 (StatsCan 2011), and is the main location for many regional head offices for businesses, as well as the provincial government. The City of Fredericton Transit Division operates Monday to Saturday, 6:15 am until 11:00 pm, providing safe, affordable public transportation.
