Each year the Developmental Disabilities Association’s recognizes an outstanding employer for their commitment to creating an inclusive and diverse workforce. This year the DDA awarded Buy- Low Foods the Jobs West Employer of the year 2015. Buy-Low Foods Group and associated brands have been working with Jobs West, an employment service operated by the DDA, for over 10 years to employ individuals living with developmental disabilities. Buy-Low Foods recognized the abilities and important contributions that persons with developmental disabilities could bring to the workplace.
