With the help of the local PriceSmart Foods and the Overwaitea Food Group, Tecumseh Elementary School will complete their long-awaited Community Playground Installation Project. Students, parents and teachers have been fundraising and planning for this playground for 7 years – and today, it all became a reality.

Through a conversation with a teacher from Tecumseh Elementary at an Overwaitea Food Group 100th Birthday event, the team at OFG learned of their ongoing fundraising efforts to build a new playground. OFG, keen to support their friends in their local community, was quick to step in and offer the labour and expertise of over 30 volunteers to make this dream become a reality!
