For the third year in a row, Canfor has been selected as one of BC’s Top Employers for 2015. The 2015 winners were announced in a special newspaper supplement published by The Vancouver Sun on January 30, 2015, available here. Now entering its eleventh year, BC’s Top Employers is an annual competition recognizing British Columbia employers that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work.

One of Canfor’s key strategic priorities is to ensure that we are and remain an employer of choice. Our ability to attract and keep talented people in our organization is one of the most important factors in our current and future success.  To ensure we continue to meet this goal, we must be constantly reviewing our practices and programs to ensure they meet the changing needs of our employees.  Participating in this type of competition is one of many ways to make sure we are on the right path.

Canfor’s selection was based on information submitted by the company, research done by the selection committee and through a comparison to other organizations in our industry. We are one of the largest employers on the list of companies and our selection is clearly based on the strength and contributions of our employees.
