102.7 The PEAK, World Class Rock, is thrilled to accept the top spot as Best Local Radio Station in The Westender Best of the City: Readers Choice Annual Awards. The awards celebrate the people and places that Vancouver loves the most and recipients were nominated through the paper, Facebook, and Twitter with voting polls running online.

“We are excited to hear that 102.7 The PEAK has been voted Best of Vancouver for local radio by readers of The Westender,” says Tamara Stanners, Program Director at 102.7 The PEAK. “We value our listeners so much and it’s nice to know they feel the same about us and our goal to deliver new and upcoming music from here at home and around the world.”

The Westender says that their readers know what makes Vancouver one of the best cities in the world, and a record number took the time to share in the annual Best of The City survey. This is the second year that The PEAK has taken the top spot for Best FM Radio Station in Vancouver in the awards.
