Select Media Services - Nationwide Merchandising
The News Group has joined forces with our corporate affiliate, Select Media Services, LLC, creating the largest periodical nationwide merchandising organization. With more than 5,000 employees and four levels of full-time field management, high quality merchandising services are assured across the country. In addition to providing in-store services for books and magazines, this group has recently expanded and diversified by providing merchandising services for clients with a variety of products, including candy and snacks, DVDs, reading glasses, gift cards and greeting cards.
Select Media continues to provide nationwide distribution services for book and magazine publishers to thousands of specialty retailers in the United States. Select Media offers expertise in logistics, in-store service, visual merchandising, category management and customer service. Select Media recently expanded its market share by partnering with several new retailers, including Blockbuster, Fry’s Electronics and Toys “Я” Us. Other major customers include: AC Moore, Best Buy, Hobby Lobby, The Home Depot, Home Goods, Office Depot, Office Max and Staples.
