These distribution centers utilize a highly sophisticated and efficient just-in-time logistics system that has been specifically designed to meet the demanding requirements of their customers.

Prologix Distribution Services (West) formed in December 2005, and operates six high-volume distribution centers in the Western US, based out of Fife, WA. In 2009, Prologix Distribution Services (West) expanded its footprint to include service to the states of Arizona and Colorado, and entered into a joint venture to service its customers in Hawaii through The Islander News Group. News Group Distribution Services, based out of Jackson, MI, services its customer base in the US Midwest and Alaska. In 2009, News Group Distribution Services added distribution centers in Cincinnati and acquired 100% of Prologix Distribution Services (East), the leading periodical distribution firm in the Southeastern US. Headquartered in Atlanta, GA, Prologix East uses an infrastructure of six distribution centers strategically located in the Southeast.

Together, Prologix Distribution Services (West), Prologix Distribution Services (East), and News Group Distribution Services operate the industry’s leading periodical-handling infrastructure.

With a team of more than 1,900 logistic professionals serving every grocer, mass merchandiser, newsstand, airport terminal and other conventional retailer selling periodicals across America, these centers assemble and deliver more than 3.6 million orders annually.
