Jim Pattison Broadcast Group Wins 3 National RTNDA Awards

Jim Pattison Broadcast Group is pleased to announce CHAT-TV (Medicine Hat) and CFJC-TV (Kamloops) have both been recognized with prestigious Radio-Television News Directors Association of Canada Awards which honours the best in radio, television and new media journalism.
CFJC-TV received the Bert Cannings “Best Newscast Award (Small Market)” for its coverage of the May 13, 2010 evening news. CHAT-TV won the Dave Rogers “Best Short Feature Award” for a story on the rat infestation in Swift Current and also the Dave Rogers “Best Long Feature Award” for “Too Dry for Tears”, a program about Canadians helping to save lives in drought-ridden Kenya and Uganda.

It takes a very dedicated and talented group of news professionals coming together daily to create a newscast of this stature that reflects the lives and times we live in throughout South Central British Columbia and the City of Kamloops in particular.”
