Save-On-Foods Honoured at 2009 Canadian Independent Grocer of the Year Awards
The Save-On-Foods Ellerslie store located in Edmonton, Alberta was given national recognition by the Canadian Federation of Independent Grocers (CFIG) as the Bronze winner of a 2009 Independent Grocer of the Year award in the Large Store category.
Each year, the CFIG evaluates Canadian grocery stores from a consumer’s perspective and selects the very best from across the country to receive its prestigious Independent Grocer of the Year Awards.
Each store is rigorously evaluated for retail excellence and rated on its customer service, department management, store layout, merchandising, creativity, cleanliness and community. Darren Nickerson, store manager (pictured here with his team) was pleased to accept this award on behalf of his team.
