PriceSmart Foods Opens Smart New Location in Vancouver’s King Edward Village

Team members at the Overwaitea Food Group’s (OFG) King Edward PriceSmart Foods location welcomed an enthusiastic crowd to the store’s grand opening celebration on September 23. While joining in on a host of festivities including a performance by a local Chinese lion dance team, customers toured the 30,000 sq ft store which features everyday low prices, in-store conveniences and simply smart meal ideas designed to help save time and money.
The store is part of a new retail/residential development known as King Edward Village, featuring a 7-storey office building, 12-storey residential tower and a complimentary mix of retail tenants. Conveniently located along Kingsway’s busy commuter corridor and within short walking distance for more than 6,000 residents, this centre serves as a focal point for the mature neighbourhood and is anticipated to spur revitalization efforts for the entire community.
