OFG Honoured with BC Hydro PowerSmart Award for Third Time
The Overwaitea Food Group (OFG) has been singled out as being one of BC's energy efficiency leaders and as one of the few companies that takes a holistic approach to energy management by integrating it into all aspects of their business. BC Hydro has honoured OFG with its most prestigious Power Smart Excellence Award in the category of Excellence in Energy Management. This is the third time OFG has been honoured by BC Hydro for its commitment to sustainability and energy management. Over the last year OFG’s Green Team has worked to develop an energy policy which sets out operational guidelines and measures store efficiency standards. The award recognizes OFG’s commitment to taking energy management beyond the basics into a leadership position.
