New Urban Fare in Coal Harbour Opens with West Coast Flare and Gourmet Fare
On September 23, gourmet food lovers celebrated the grand opening of their new Urban Fare. Nestled in the heart of Coal Harbour, the store is a reflection of the natural beauty of the west coast combined with the finest gourmet fare from around the world and around the corner.
The store’s décor is as rich, diverse, textured and elegant as the world-class food featured. The exterior landing at the store’s entrance is stoned aggregate concrete, shaped like Stanley Park, and creates the effect of a flowing creek leading customers into the store. Once inside, customers have a wide open view of the lush fresh departments across the store. High quality, fine international gourmet and exotic foods abound in every department. Over 200 cheeses in the deli, indulgent cakes and Belgian chocolates in the bakery, rare and exotic meats and seafoods like tuna and rattlesnake, and tropical and distinct floral from exotic lands. The store’s design also supports sustainability, achieved through an intricate system which captures the heat generated from the store’s refrigeration equipment and circulates it through the entire building.
Urban Fare in Coal Harbour embodies the essence of the west coast, while featuring the finest foods – after all, everyone needs a little gourmet everyday.
