Founded in 1961, Jim Pattison Lease specializes in designing unique, fleet management and leasing solutions for commercial enterprises, the public sector and business professionals across Canada. Our “build to suit” philosophy and our personalized, single point of contact approach have allowed us to grow our portfolio to over 15,000 leased and managed vehicles.
The Jim Pattison Lease model is truly customer driven, not the other way around! Our uniquely flexible approach to the leasing market is our main advantage. While many of our competitors force customers into a standard model for managing their vehicle fleets, we take the time to design custom programs to match our customer’s needs. These programs are offered in a “menu-select” format that includes all vehicle makes and models, including used vehicles, financial and true operating residual “risk free” leases, flexible lease terms and even short term leases.
With the recent implementation of our custom built, state-of-the-art system applications, Jim Pattison Lease offers total fleet management through our Pattison Fleet Cards. This convenient service card allows us to manage the fleet operating expenses of our customers, from fuel to maintenance, in a user friendly format. Our wide range of regional and national suppliers helps to reduce driver downtime and operating expenses by providing convenient access for customers, as well as fleet discounts. Unique in our industry, we pass through 100% of all purchase discounts directly to our customers!
2007 was another milestone year for Jim Pattison Lease! On May 1, 2007, we expanded our operations through the acquisition of Burnaby, BC based West Lease and Vancouver Hino Truck Sales. West Lease has provided a full range of leasing services to commercial customers in BC and Alberta for over 40 years. In addition to a portfolio of 2,000 leases, we retained 14 new employees through this acquisition. Our BC operation has relocated into a newer and larger building with a fully equipped service center. We are now able to offer on-site service maintenance and repairs for all makes and models of vehicles by our licensed technicians in any of our six service shop bays. This facility will increase our retail and wholesale remarketing activities through enhanced reconditioning. We truly are full service!
Vancouver Hino Truck Sales
We entered into a new business venture with the acquisition of the Vancouver Hino dealership. Hino is one of the world’s largest suppliers of Class 4 to Class 7 medium duty commercial trucks. As a member of the Toyota family, these trucks have the same commitment to quality and performance the world has come to expect from Toyota passenger cars. Sold in over 120 countries worldwide, Hino trucks are famous for their reliability, fuel efficiency, low emissions and the highest quality design and workmanship in the industry. Year after year, Hino is consistently a top volume supplier of commercial trucks in the world.
Vancouver Hino Truck Sales is one of the original Canadian dealers founded in 1987. Vancouver Hino has grown into a successful, full service, stand alone dealership offering parts, late hours service and new and used truck sales to the Lower Mainland of BC.
The needs of the customer come first at Vancouver Hino! No other dealer in Canada has the mix of expertise, years of experience and youthful enthusiasm. Personal, high touch service from the initial contact to after sales parts and service has allowed us to grow despite economic cycles, industry consolidation and changing regulations.
We expect great things for 2008 as Hino re-launches one of its flagship product lines, namely the cabover. This Class 4 truck is excellent for city deliveries as its fuel efficiency and maneuverability are legendary, and it will add to an already impressive lineup of conventional cab designed trucks. This lineup allows Vancouver Hino to satisfy all medium duty commercial truck owners from the large fleets to the small delivery truck, all with Toyota reliability and quality.
